So, fans might want to keep an eye out for when development does finish, lest those players miss out on their chance to get these two classic titles together. With this new remake, I’m excited to finally experience the game for myself, without needing driving lessons. Similarly, Nightdive wasn't clear on when System Shock 2: Enhanced Edition will release, though the developer does intend to deliver on both titles around the same time. System Shock really is a classic, or at least that’s what I’ve been told. Create a mod/remake that requires the base game, as this is pretty much free advertising for the IP owner to whoever wishes to play the remake, and so normally lowers the chances of having trouble.

It isn't entirely clear yet when the full release of the game will be coming, especially considering the Steam page still has the release date set for an earlier projected launch in 2020 as of this writing. What we're trying to say, is that it is a lot safer to 1. So, as interesting as a new chance to get a feel for the game is, the developer likely has larger hopes for the overall experience recreating the 1994 classic than the small taste available in the demo.
